Our goal

Our goal is a healthy, functional mouth that will also aid in the health of the rest of the body.

The next few blogs will be a series of how we determine the best restoration for the tooth.

Amalgam or cavity? Now what?!

When we remove amalgam fillings from teeth, there are many factors to consider in restoring the tooth back to optimum health.

Size of the cavity:

Small, with lots of good tooth structure surrounding it-a good restoration for this type of cavity would be a composite (non-metallic) tooth-colored filling. The next blogs will focus on teeth with larger amalgam fillings and the steps we take to restore teeth in this condition to a healthier place.
